Am I required to store long-term?
We provide flexible month-to-month lease options. Store with us short or long-term.
How do I pay my storage charges?
Pay your storage charges online using a debit card or credit card. You can also pay your charges by electronic funds transfer (EFT). Note your unit number and the password should be ‘rent’. If sending payment by EFT, your payment should be emailed to:
- payments@cityboxstorage.ca for Midtown customers
- accounting@cityboxstorage.ca for Manchester or Fernie customers
And you can always speak to your facility manager if you need any assistance.
Do you offer RV, boat or vehicle storage?
No, we do not offer indoor or outdoor storage of vehicles or boats. Our Fernie location does permit motorcycle storage with appropriate precautions for spills and flammables.
What are the access hours?
Our facilities are open to customers from 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM every day.
How do I know how much storage space I need?
Please use our size guide to help you determine the size of unit that’s best for you. And you can always telephone our office and our experienced staff will be happy to help you.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
You can bring your own lock or buy one from us. Our newest facility, CityBox Midtown, is touchless and operated from your mobile smartphone – no locks or keys required.
What items am I not allowed to store?
Perishables, plants, animals, stolen or illegal goods, flammable or hazardous items, combustible items, or liquids.
What security features do you offer?
Our facilities are equipped with a variety of secure storage units, as well as a video surveillance system that records all activities on the property. When it comes to the safety and preservation of your belongings, don’t look any further than Mini Mall Storage Properties.
What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
A valid form of government issued photo ID such as a driver’s license, passport or other province or federal ID.

What is drive up access?
Drive-up access is available at our Fernie location and allows CityBox customers to drive directly up to their storage unit, which is especially useful for those with larger items. These storage units are tall and convenient, offering a quick way to load or unload your belongings.
What is loading dock and ramp access?
Loading dock access and ramp access are both available at our Manchester location and allow large and high garage door entry. Loading dock access allows access from your raised truck or trailer bed directly onto the floor of the CityBox Storage facility. It’s Perfect for loading and unloading from moving vans. Ramp access allows for a smooth transition from a lower height onto the floor of our facility and is designed for cars, vans light trucks and trailers.
